Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) - A Polyvagal Nervous System Intervention to Support Regulation

$75.00

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a listening program designed for children and adults to help the nervous system feel calmer and safer, making it easier to relax, engage with others, and take part in daily life.

During sessions you and/or your child listen to specially filtered music through over-ear headphones. The music is shaped to highlight the frequencies of the human voice, which is the range our bodies naturally read as safe. Many people use SSP alongside other supports, and it can be helpful for those who feel on edge, withdrawn, easily overwhelmed by sound or sensory input, or stuck in stress.

As a trained provider, I will guide the program, which can be done in person, at an outside setting, or remotely through an app. Participants usually commit to listening to ten, 30-minute sessions, however you can listen at a pace that feels comfortable while we collaboratively track your progress.

SSP is not a medical treatment and is not intended to diagnose or cure any condition. Learn more here.
